1988 Fender Heavy Metal Strat

A guitar that was bought for my shop and found it’s way into my personal collection being simply brilliant (I’m in no rush to sell).

One owner from new and all original and complete (more photos to follow).

Guitar is in great condition but being one of the earliest runs is now 35 years old so has a worn in light relic look and feel.

This is an original and not the reissue. Made in Japan with a single USA humbucker controlled by a volume, tone and split coil switch.

Its loaded with a Khaler USA trem and ghoto tuners.

24 jumbo frets in excellent condition with a nice rosewood board and maple neck.

The sound of this thing is simply massive! It‘s made to roar and sounds amazing. The neck is one of the reasons I’ve kept the guitar, it has an amazing satin finish through play wear and is a nicest neck I’ve ever played on a Fender.

Comes with a soft case but this can be upgraded to a hardcase on request (please send a message to discuss options).

These original HM strats are fairly rare and still very reasonably priced.
